Harassment
On Tuesday, November 12, 2019, at approximately 11:00am, the victim, a 50-year-old Monroe, NJ resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters in reference to a report of Harassment. The victim advised that she is being harassed by a known subject due to an ongoing civil dispute regarding the ownership of property. Patrolman Kyle Earley was the responding officer.

Harassment
On Tuesday, November 11, 2019, at approximately 10:43pm, patrols responded to a residence located on Shepherd Way in reference to a report of Harassment. The victim, a 28-year-old Manalapan, NJ resident advised that she has been receiving harassing phone calls and text messages from a known subject. Patrolman Ryan Brady was the responding officer.

Theft
On Monday, November 11, 2019, at approximately 8:45pm, patrols responded to a residence on Thoreau Drive in reference to a report of Theft. The victim, a 39-year-old Manalapan, NJ resident advised that on November 11, 2019, between the hours of 4:30am and 3:30pm, an unknown actor removed the rear license plate from the victim’s vehicle while it was parked in a commuter lot located on Franklin Lane. Patrolman Matthew Meyler was the responding officer.

Burglary to a Motor Vehicle
On Monday, November 11, 2019, at approximately 7:18pm, patrols responded to the parking lot of a business located on State Highway 9 in reference to a report of a Burglary to a Motor Vehicle. The victim, a 43-year-old, Staten Island, NY resident advised that on November 11, 2019, between the hours of 11:00am and 8:00pm, an unknown actor forced entry into the victim’s vehicle by smashing the passenger side window and then removed personal property. The Manalapan Township Police Department Detective Bureau responded to the scene. The incident was handled by Patrolman Peter Bylsma and is pending further investigation.

Fraud
On Monday, November 11, 2019, at approximately 5:50pm, patrols responded to a residence on Fawn Run in reference to the report of Fraud. The victim, a 68-year-old Manalapan, NJ resident advised that on November 11, 2019, the victim received a phone call from an unknown subject who purported to be an employee of an electricity provider. The subject advised the victim that she owed several hundred dollars in unpaid electricity bills and requested the victim’s personal bank account and credit card information. The victim provided the subject with her personal banking information and subsequently realized that it was a scam. Patrolman Christopher Makwinski was the responding officer.

Shoplifting
On Monday, November 11, 2019, at approximately 12:00pm, patrols responded to a business located on State Highway 9 in reference to a report of Theft. An employee of the business advised that on November 11, 2019, at approximately 11:45am, an unknown actor removed merchandise valued at $12.99 without paying. The suspect fled the area on foot towards State Highway 9 and was unable to be apprehended. The incident was handled by Patrolman Oleksy and is pending further investigation.

Criminal Mischief
On Monday, November 11, 2019, at approximately 10:19am, patrols responded to a residence located on Winged Foot Drive in reference to a report of Criminal Mischief. The victim, a 42-year-old Manalapan, NJ resident advised that on November 10, 2019, at 11:30pm, an unknown actor threw an object at her second floor bedroom window resulting in damage. Patrolman Reginald Grant was the responding officer.

Fraud
On Saturday, November 9, 2019, at approximately 12:14pm, the victim, a 78-year-old Manalapan, NJ resident from Saratoga Drive responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters and reported an incident of Fraud. The victim advised that on November 4, 2019, an unknown actor phoned the victim and pretended to be the victim’s grandson. The unknown subject then advised the victim that he was in a motor vehicle accident and needed $16,000. The victim complied with the request and sent the unknown actor the funds using an overnight courier service. The incident was handled by Patrolman Jeff Emslie and is pending further investigation.

Motor Vehicle Burglaries
During the early morning hours on Saturday, November 9, 2019, four residences on Sweetmans Lane, Kinney Road, Millhurst Road and Hillside Drive reported that sometime overnight their vehicles were entered and that money was removed from some of those vehicles. It should be noted that each vehicles that were entered by the actor(s) were left unlocked and easily accessible to the actor(s). The Manalapan Police Department Detective Bureau responded to the scene and this incident is under further investigation. The incident was initially handled by Patrolman Joseph Defilippis and the investigation is pending.

Warrant Arrest

On Friday, November 8, 2019, at approximately 4:51 pm, patrols responded to Mercer County Correctional Institution and took custody of Shakeen Myers, a 34-year-old male, single, self-employed and resident of Trenton, NJ. Mr. Myers had a warrant that was issued for his arrest by the Manalapan Township Municipal Court in the amount of $1000.00. Mr. Myers was processed and transported to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution in default of bail. Patrolman Scott Rindsberg was the arresting officer.

Theft
On Friday, November 8, 2019, at approximately 4:13pm, patrols responded to a residence on Comtois Road in reference to the report of a Theft. The victim, a 68-year-old Manalapan, NJ resident advised that on November 8, 2019, between the hours of 1:00pm and 3:00pm, an unknown actor removed a package that was placed at the victim’s door by a delivery service. The package was valued at $68.15. Patrolman Jason Vigneault was the responding officer.

Theft of Services
On Thursday, November 7, 2019, at approximately 4:19pm, an employee of a business located on Millhurst Road responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters and reported an incident of Theft of Services. The employee related that a known subject contracted with the business to provide services which have not been paid. The incident was handled by Patrolman Phil Accatatta and is pending further investigation.

Shoplifting
On Thursday, November 7, 2019, at approximately 2:13pm, patrols responded to a business located on State Highway 9 in reference to a report of Shoplifting. An employee of the store related that on November 7, 2019, at approximately 2:00pm, an unknown actor removed a vaping device from the business without paying. The product is valued at $12.99. The incident was handled by Officer Jean Letts and is pending further investigation.

Fraud

On Thursday, November 7, 2019, at approximately 9:30am, the victim, a 47-year-old Manalapan, NJ resident from Ronald Court responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters and reported an incident of Fraud. The victim advised that on October 31, 2019, an unknown actor utilized the victim’s trucking company fuel account and fraudulently made multiple fuel transactions. Patrolman Kyle Earley was the responding officer.

Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, Warrant Arrest

On Thursday, November 7, 2019, at approximately 9:05pm, Patrolman Philip Accatatta conducted a motor vehicle stop on State Highway 9 for a traffic violation. The driver, a 29-year-old male, single, employed as a package handler and resident of Perth Amboy, NJ was found to be in possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana. The passenger, a 26-year-old male, single, employed as a landscaper and resident of Carteret, NJ was found to be in possession of a less than 50 grams of marijuana, possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. In addition, the first man was found to have a warrant that was issued for his arrest by the Newark Court in the amount of $7,500 and the Perth Amboy Court in the amount of $2,000. Both subjects were arrested and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where they were processed. The second man was served with a summons and released. The first was served with a summons and transported to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution in default of bail. Patrolman Phil Accatatta was the arresting officer.

Possession of Less than 50 Grams of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

On Tuesday, November 5, 2019, at approximately 9:15pm, Patrolman Phil Accatatta conducted a motor vehicle stop on State Highway 33 for a motor vehicle violation. The passenger, a 24-year-old male, single, employed as a sales manager and resident of Monroe, NJ was found to be in possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was arrested and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and released after being served with a summons. Patrolman Phil Accatatta was the arresting officer.

Criminal Mischief
On Tuesday, November 5, 2019, at approximately 9:34am, patrols responded to the area of Lonestar Lane and Dortmunder Drive in reference to a report of Criminal Mischief. Further investigation revealed that an unknown subject spray-painted graffiti on two trees and a stop sign. The graffiti was later removed by the Manalapan Township Department of Public Works. Patrolman Reginald Grant was the responding officer.

Shoplifting

On Monday, November 4, 2019, at approximately 9:08pm, patrols responded to a business located on State Highway 9 in reference to a report of Shoplifting. An employee of the business advised that on November 4, 2019, at approximately 9:00pm, an unknown actor attempted to conceal merchandise valued at $425.99 and leave the business without paying. The suspect left the merchandise and then fled the scene. The incident was handled by Patrolman Peter Bylsma and is pending further investigation.

Warrant Arrest

On Monday, November 4, 2019, at approximately 11:21am, patrols responded to the Roselle Park Police Department and took custody of a 34-year-old male, single, unemployed and resident of Hillside, NJ. He had a warrant that was issued for his arrest by the Manalapan Township Municipal Court in the amount of $1,000.00. He was processed and transported to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution in default of bail. Patrolman Reginald Grant was the arresting officer.

Motor Vehicle Theft
On Sunday, November 3, 2019, at approximately 6:35pm, patrols responded to a residence located on Sobecko Road in reference to the report of a Motor Vehicle Theft. The victim, a 23-year-old Colts Neck, NJ resident advised that sometime between 4:00pm and 6:00pm on November 3, 2019, an unknown subject removed an abandoned vehicle valued at $250.00 from the victim’s property. The vehicle was described as a blue 1990 Ford E150 van. The van was not operational and was being held for scrap metal purposes. The incident was handled by Patrolman Kyle Williams and is pending further investigation.

Warrant Arrest
On Sunday, November 3, 2019, at approximately 4:03pm, patrols responded to the North Hanover Township Police Department and took custody of a 32-year-old male, married, employed as a laborer and resident of Beverly, New Jersey. He had a warrant that was issued for his arrest by the Manalapan Township Municipal Court in the amount of $750. He was processed and transported to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution in default of bail. Patrolman Joseph DeFilippis was the arresting officer.

Harassment/Terroristic Threats
On Saturday, November 2, 2019, at approximately 2:02pm, patrols responded to a business located on Wilson Ave in reference to the report of Terroristic Threats. The victim, a 37-year-old Eatontown, NJ resident advised that she had a verbal dispute with an unknown subject about a sales transaction. During the dispute, the unknown subject threatened to punch the victim if she did not allow the subject to return an item. Patrolman Peter Bylsma was the responding officer.

Harassment
On Friday, November 1, 2019, at approximately 6:02pm, the victim, a 20-year-old Manalapan, NJ resident from Stratford Drive responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters and reported an incident of Harassment. The victim advised that on November 1, 2019, she received a harassing letter in the mail from an unknown subject. Patrolman Phil Accatatta was the responding officer.

Warrant Arrest

On Friday, November 1, 2019, at approximately 12:01pm, a 35-year-old male, single, self-employed and resident of Piscataway NJ, turned himself in at Manalapan Township Police Headquarters regarding a warrant that was issued for his arrest by the Manalapan Township Municipal Court in the amount of $750.00. He was processed and released after posting bail. Patrolman Anthony Cascella was the arresting officer.

Assault
On Thursday, October 31, 2019, at approximately 9:55am, patrols responded to a business located on Gordon’s Corner Road in reference to the report of an Assault. The victim, a 67-year-old Manalapan, NJ resident advised that on October 31, 2019, he and a known male subject had a verbal dispute which turned into a physical altercation. There were no injuries and neither subject wanted to pursue the matter. Patrolman Reginald Grant was the responding officer.

Harassment
On Wednesday, October 30, 2019, at approximately 12:03pm, the victim, a 53-year-old Manalapan, NJ resident from Wickatunk Drive responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters and filed a report of Harassment. The victim advised that a known subject has been sending unwanted texts and making excessive phone calls to them for the last month. Officer Jean Letts was the responding officer
