Warrant Arrest / Suspended driver
On Sunday, October 14, 2018 at 8:33 pm, Patrolman John Lightbody conducted a motor vehicle stop on Main Street, after observing a motor vehicle violation. The driver, Shaun Williams, a 37-year-old, separated, self-employed, East Windsor resident, was found to have two active traffic warrants issued for his arrest out of the South Brunswick and East Windsor Municipal court for $500.00 and $164.00. Williams was also found to have a suspended New Jersey driver’s license. Williams was transported to the Manalapan Township police
Department, where he was processed and released after posting bail. Patrolman John Lightbody handled the arrest.
Possession of Marijuana Over 50 Grams and Paraphernalia
On Sunday, October 14, 2018, at approximately 3:56 p.m., Jordan Tlacoxolal, a 21-year-old, unmarried, male, resident of Freehold Boro, NJ, who is employed as a carpenter, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation on Woodward Road in the area of Lamb Lane. Mr. Tlacoxolal was subsequently found to be in possession of over 50 grams of marijuana, as well as drug paraphernalia. Mr. Tlacoxolal was placed under arrest and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and released after being issued summonses and a pending court appearance. Patrolman Jeffrey Mattson was the arresting officer.

Fraud
On Saturday, October 13, 2018, at approximately 6:00 p.m., a 63-year-old Manalapan resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters to report that an unknown actor had used the victim’s identity to open a credit card and make $13,301.16 in fraudulent purchases. Patrolman Jeffrey Emslie took the report, which is pending further investigation.
Terroristic Threats
On Friday, October 12, 2018, at approximately 7:00 p.m., a 49-year-old Howell resident reported receiving a threatening phone call from an unknown individual while at the victim’s place of employment. Patrolman Jeffrey Emslie took the report, which is pending further investigation.

Possession of Prescription Medication
On Friday, October 12, 2018, at approximately 4:53 p.m., Ryan Steinberg, a 24-year-old, unemployed, unmarried, male, resident of Manalapan, NJ, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation on Village Drive in the area of Millhurst Road. Mr. Steinberg was subsequently found to be in possession of multiple prescription pills without a valid prescription. Mr. Steinberg was placed under arrest and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and released after being issued summonses. Patrolman Matthew Porricelli was the arresting officer.
Shoplifting
On Thursday, October 11, 2018, at 9:47 p.m., loss prevention employees of the Target department store, located at 55 Route 9 South in Manalapan, reported an incident of shoplifting. Donna Oleary, a 54-year-old, unemployed, divorced, female, resident of Manalapan, NJ, was subsequently placed under arrest for shoplifting $298.67 worth of merchandise. Ms. Oleary was transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where she was processed and released after being issued a summons. Patrolman Kyle Williams was the arresting officer.
Fraud
On Thursday, October 11, 2018, at approximately 8:15 p.m., a 47-year-old Manalapan resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters to report that an unknown actor attempted to open two credit cards in the victim’s name. Mo monetary loss was reported as a result of this incident. Patrolman Douglas Zike was the responding officer.
Fraud
On Thursday, October 11, 2018 at 3:51 p.m., a 52-year-old Manalapan resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters to report fraudulent activity on a Verizon Wireless account. The victim reported that an unknown individual contacted Verizon and switched two phone numbers that belonged to him to another carrier. Patrolman Brian Schank took the report, which is pending further investigation.
Burglary
On Wednesday, October 10, 2018, at approximately 12:08 p.m., a 62-year-old resident of Manalapan reported that unknown actor(s) forcibly entered a Devon Drive residence. No items were reported missing from the residence and the suspects were not located. Patrolman Joseph DeFilippis took the report, which is pending further investigation.
Burglary
On Monday, October 8, 2018, at approximately 3:18 p.m., a 70-year-old Freehold Borough resident reported a commercial burglary to a Taylors Mills Road structure. Sometime between 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 6 and 3:18 p.m. on Monday, October 8, an unknown actor(s) forcibly entered the structure and removed various items. The value of the items has not yet been determined. Patrolman Kyle Williams took the report, which is pending further investigation. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Manalapan Township Police Department at 732-446-430.
Theft
On Wednesday, October 10, 2018, at approximately 12:18 p.m., a 24-year-old resident of Little Silver reported that an unknown actor, described only as a Hispanic male, removed a leaf blower valued at $675.00 from the rear of a landscape trailer that had been parked on Symmes Drive. Patrolman Kevin Ruditsky took the report, which is pending further investigation.
Theft
On Tuesday, October 9, 2018, at approximately 10:30 p.m., a 49-year-old Manalapan resident reported the theft of campaign signs from Tennent Road. This incident is pending the signing of criminal complaints. Patrolman Douglas Zike was the responding officer.
Harassment
On Wednesday, October 10, 2018, at approximately 11:00 a.m., a 22-year-old Manalapan resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters to report receiving harassing text messages. No complaints were signed as a result of this incident. Patrolman Christopher Oleksy was the responding officer.
