Arrests were made for alleged shoplifting at the Wegman's, Target and more:

MANALAPAN, NJ — Released by Manalapan police, here are all the arrests and calls for service in Manalapan Township from Sept. 11 through Sept. 17:
Shoplifting
On Sunday, September 17, 2017 at approximately 1:45 p.m., Ptl. Aaron Abeles responded to the Wegman’s supermarket for the report of a shoplifter in custody. Leslie Barca, a 34-year-old, married, Howell resident, who is unemployed, attempted to shoplift $473.46 worth of merchandise from the store. She was subsequently placed under arrest and processed at Manalapan Township Police Headquarters. She was later released pending a future court date.
Identity Theft
On Sunday September 17, 2017 at 1:29 p.m. a 39-year-old Manalapan resident reported that her identity may have been compromised after she found inconsistencies on her credit history report. Ptl. Brian Cruse took the report.

Criminal Mischief
On Sunday, September 17, 2017 at approximately 11:14 a.m., Ptl. Aaron Abeles responded to a residence on Crystal Court for the report of criminal mischief to a foreclosed residence. It was determined that unknown subject(s) entered the residence sometime between Sept. 1 and Sept. 16 by breaking a window and
subsequently extensively damaged the interior of the residence. If anyone has any further information on this case they are asked to contact the Manalapan Township Police Department at (732)446-4300.
Warrant Arrest
On Sunday, September 17, 2017 at approximately 9:35 a.m., Ptl. Bryan Belardo conducted a motor vehicle stop on Castle Court. During the stop the driver, Christian Chiejina, a 40-year-old married resident of North Brunswick, employed as a home health aid, was found to have an active traffic warrant out of Jamesburg for $114.00. Chiejina was placed under arrest and processed at Manalapan Police headquarters. He posted bail and was released.

Warrant Arrest
On Saturday, September 16, 2017, at approximately 9:42 p.m., Patrolman Christopher Makwinski stopped a vehicle on Route 9 in Manalapan for a traffic violation. Roberta Kopp, a 60-year-old, unmarried, unemployed, resident of Marlboro Township, was found to have a warrant issued for her arrest by the Colts Neck Township Municipal Court in the amount of $164.00. Ms. Kopp was placed under arrest and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where she was processed and released after posting bail.
Criminal Mischief
On Saturday, September 16, 2017 at approximately 6:20 p.m., unknown juveniles threw several rocks through the rear glass door window of 813 Dancer Lane but did not gain entry. The residence was inhabitable and vacant due to a recent structure fire. If anyone has any information regarding this incident, please contact Ptl. Adam Sosnowski at (732) 446-4300
Warrant Arrest
On Saturday, September 16, 2017, at approximately 1:30 p.m., Mario Berritto, a 24-year-old, unmarried, male, resident of Marlboro, who is employed as a maintenance worker, tuned himself in at Manalapan Township Police Headquarters regarding warrants that were issued for his arrest by the Manalapan Township Municipal Court in the amount of $1,500.00 and the Newark Municipal Court in the amount of $500.00. Mr. Berritto was processed and released after posting bail. Patrolman Bryan Belardo handled the arrest.
Warrant Arrest
On Friday, September 15, 2017, at approximately 5:45 p.m., Jessica A. Serafino, a 28-year-old, unmarried, unemployed, female, resident of Manalapan, turned herself in at the Manalapan Township Police Department regarding a warrant that was issued by the South Brunswick Municipal Court in the amount of $245.00. Ms. Serafino was processed and released after posting bail. Patrolman Peter Bylsma handled the arrest.
Theft
On Friday, September 15, 2017, at approximately 3:06 p.m., a Target Loss Prevention Officer responded to this agency to report a theft. The employee reported that on September 14, 2017, at approximately 10:00 a.m., a suspect described as a white female, approximately 5’05” in height, approximately 35 years of age, with brown hair, stole a Dyson Vacuum cleaner valued at $599.99 from the Target store located at 55 US 9 South, in Manalapan Township. This incident was handled by Patrolman Peter Bylsma.
Harassment
On Thursday, September 14, 2017, at approximately 2:25 p.m., a 70-year-old Manalapan resident reported ongoing harassment by a neighbor during the course of the past few months. The victim was informed of the complaint procedures with the municipal court. This incident was handled by Patrolman Joseph DeFilippis.
Warrant Arrest
On Thursday, September 14, 2017, at approximately 1:05 p.m., Judith Carr, a 59-year-old, married, female, resident of Manalapan, who is unemployed, turned herself in at Manalapan Township Police Headquarters regarding a warrant that was issued for her arrest by the Marlboro Township Municipal Court in the
amount of $250.00. This was for missing appearances in traffic court. Mrs. Carr was processed and released after posting bail. Patrolman Ross Dessel handled the arrest.
Theft of Property
On Thursday, September 14, 2017, at approximately 8:27 a.m., Patrolman Kevin Ruditsky responded to the Dunkin Donuts located at 336 Route 9 north for a report of a theft. A 76-year-old resident of Monroe reported that an unknown female suspect removed a car key valued at $450.00 that was left unattended inside the restaurant. The female suspect then left Dunkin Donuts in an unknown direction. The case is pending further investigation.
Warrant Arrest
On Thursday, September 14, 2017, at approximately 12:30 am, Jordan Fernandes, a 24-year-old, unmarried, male, resident of Manalapan, who is employed as a student, turned himself in at Manalapan Township Police
Headquarters regarding warrants that were issued for his arrest by the Freehold Township Municipal Court in the amount of $114.00 and the Englishtown Municipal Court in the amount of $354.00. Mr. Fernandes was processed and released after posting bail. Patrolman Jean Letts handled this arrest.
Fraud
On Wednesday, September 13, 2017, at approximately 3:33 p.m., Patrolman Douglas Zike responded to a Craig Road business for a report of fraud. The employee of the Manalapan business reported that multiple packages, valued in the amount of $11,744.75, had been shipped to Newark, New Jersey. The employee was later advised that the incident was a scam. This incident is pending further investigation. Patrolman Douglas Zike handled the report.
Warrant Arrest
On Tuesday, September 12, 2017, at approximately 11:52 a.m., Wojciech Wilk, a 26-year-old, single, male, resident of Howell, who is employed as a truck driver, turned himself in at Manalapan Township Police Headquarters regarding a traffic warrant that was issued for his arrest by the Manalapan Township Municipal
Court in the amount of $240.00. Mr. Wilk was processed and released after posting bail. Patrolman Joseph DeFilippis made the arrest.
