Warrant Arrest
On Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 1:20 p.m. patrols responded to the WaWa parking lot on Woodward Road for a report of a suspicious male in the parking lot. Patrols conducted an investigation on a white male, later identified as Zachary Karrick. Zachary is a 26-year-old single unemployed male from Allendale, NJ. He was subsequently arrested on a warrant out of Wall Township for $500. He also had a wanted persons warrant out of Ocean County for $5,000. He was processed and turned over to Ocean County Sheriff’s
Department. Ptl. Anthony Cascella handled the arrest.
Warrant Arrest
On Friday, September 29, 2017, at approximately 12:00 p.m., Jameel R. Ali, a 70-year-old, retired, unmarried, male, resident of Manalapan turned himself in at Manalapan Township Police Headquarters regarding warrants that were issued for his arrest by Marlboro Township Municipal Court in the amount of $1,000 and the Plainsboro Township Municipal Court in the amount of $225. Mr. Ali was processed and released after posting bail. Patrolman William Dutton handled the arrest.

Burglary/Criminal Mischief
On Thursday, September 28, 2017, at approximately 3:17 p.m., a 69-year-old Manalapan resident reported that between June, 2017 and September 28, 2017, an unknown actor(s) damaged a door to a storage unit, which was located in a secured area on Pine Cluster Circle in Manalapan Township. The victim did not
report any missing property from the unit and reported the total cost of the damage was approximately $5.00. Patrolman Peter Bylsma took the report.
Warrant Arrest
On Thursday, September 28, 2017, at approximately 11:30 a.m., Patrolman Bryan Belardo conducted a motor vehicle stop on Union Hill Road in Manalapan Township. The driver, identified as Syed Abidi, a 21-year-old, unmarried, unemployed, male, resident of Manalapan was found to have a warrant issued for his arrest by the Manalapan Township Municipal Court in the amount of $290. Mr. Abidi was arrested and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and released after posting bail.

Theft
On Wednesday, September 27, 2017, at approximately 5:12 p.m., a 39-year-old resident of Little Egg Harbor, NJ responded to the Manalapan Township Police Department and reported that on Wednesday, September 27, 2017, while at the Englishtown Flea Market located on Sobecho Road, an unknown actor(s) stole the victim’s cellular phone, which was valued at approximately $950. This incident is pending further investigation.
Warrant Arrest
On Wednesday, September 27, 2017, at approximately 2:30 p.m., Michelle Cavallaro, a 51-year-old, married, female, resident of Manalapan, who is employed as a driver, turned herself in at Manalapan Township Police
Headquarters regarding a warrant that was issued for her arrest by the Freehold Borough Municipal Court in the amount of $1,000.00. Ms. Cavallaro was processed and released after posting bail. Patrolman Kyle Earley handled the arrest.
Harassment
On Tuesday, September 26, 2017, at approximately 2:29 p.m., a 63-year-old resident of Manalapan and 51-year-old resident of Manalapan reported being harassed by a neighbor. They report that the neighbor has been making unwanted comments to them. The neighbor, an 82-year-old resident of Manalapan, reports she has been harassed by her neighbors as well by unwanted comments. All parties were informed of the complaint procedures with the Manalapan Township Municipal Court, which neither party wanted to pursue
at this time. Patrolman Joseph DeFilippis handled the report.
Vandalism
On Tuesday, September 26, 2017, at approximately 8:45 p.m., Patrolman Jason Vigneault responded to the Manalapan Township Recreation Center, located on Rt. 522 in Manalapan, for a report of vandalism. Manalapan Recreation employees reported that sometime between 6:00 p.m. and approximately 8:00 p.m.,
an unknown actor(s) attempted to gain entry to the bill acceptor portion of the vending machine located between the tennis courts and the basketball courts. At this time, it does not appear that any money or product was removed from the machine. Anyone with any information regarding this incident is asked to please contact this Manalapan Township Police Department at 732-446-4300. This incident was handled by Patrolman Jason Vigneault and is pending further investigation.
Possession of Less than 50 Grams of Marijuana
On Monday September 25, 2017, at 10:00 p.m., Patrolman John Lightbody conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 522, after observing a motor vehicle violation. Rene A. Chicas, a 26-year-old, unmarried, unemployed, male, resident of Elizabeth, NJ, was found to be in possession of less than 50 grams of
marijuana. Mr. Chicas was placed under arrest and transported to the Manalapan Township Police Department where he was processed and released after being issued a summons. Mr. Chicas was also issued multiple motor vehicle summonses prior to being released. Patrolman John Lightbody handled the arrest.
Warrant Arrest
On Monday, September 25, 2017, at approximately 6:33 p.m., Patrolman Douglas Zike responded to the area of U.S Highway 9 in Marlboro regarding subject that was stopped by the Marlboro Township Police Department for a traffic violation. Alexander Feldman, an 88-year-old, married, male, resident of Manalapan, who is retired, was found to have a warrant issued for his arrest by the Manalapan Township Municipal Court in the amount of $164.00. Mr. Feldman was placed under arrest and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and released on his own recognizance, in lieu of bail. Patrolman Douglas Zike handled the arrest.

On Monday, September 25, 2017, at approximately 12:03 p.m., Ryan Flynn, a 30-year-old, unmarried, male, resident of Old Bridge, who is employed as an elevator engineer, turned himself in at Manalapan Township Police Headquarters regarding warrants that were issued for his arrest by the Manalapan Township Municipal Court in the amount of $500.00, the Freehold Township Municipal Court in the amount of $1,500.00, and the Egg Harbor Township Municipal Court in the amount of $349.00. Mr. Flynn was processed and released after posting bail. Patrolman Morgan Joiner handled the arrest.
Warrant Arrest
On Monday, September 25, 2017, at approximately 10:47 a.m., Jeffrey Epstein, a 22-year-old, unmarried, unemployed, male, resident of Manalapan turned himself in at Manalapan Township Police Headquarters regarding a warrant that was issued for his arrest by the Manalapan Township Municipal Court in the amount of $164. Mr. Epstein was processed and released after posting bail. Patrolman Kevin Ruditsky handled the arrest.
Forgery
On Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at 11:12 a.m., loss-prevention employees from the Wegman’s Supermarket, on Rt. 9 south in Manalapan reported that on September 21, 2017 at approximately 11:06 pm, a suspect described only as a black female utilized a counterfeit $100 bill as payment for a purchase. This case is pending investigation. Patrolman Kevin Ruditsky handled the report.
Warrant Arrest
On Tuesday, September 26, 2017, at approximately 12:43 p.m., Rui Loureiro, a 33-year-old, married, male, resident of Elizabeth, NJ, who is employed as a driver, was arrested by the Butler Police Department regarding a warrant that was issued for his arrest by the Manalapan Township Municipal Court with no bail amount set. Patrolman Kevin Ruditsky and Special II Officer Kyle Williams responded to the Butler Police Department and Mr. Loureiro was transported to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution pending a court appearance.

On Wednesday, September 27, 2017, at approximately 11:30 a.m., Tiffany Foxx, a 33-year-old, unmarried, female, resident of Plainsboro, NJ, who is employed as a student, was arrested by the Edison Police Department regarding a warrant that was issued for her arrest by the Manalapan Township Municipal Court in the amount of $1,000. Patrolman Kevin Ruditsky and Patrolman Ross Dessel responded to the Edison Police Department and Ms. Foxx was transported to the Manalapan Township Police Department where she was processed and released after posting bail.
