Shoplifting
On Sunday, September 8 at approximately 4:00 pm, Ptl. Charles Mazzatto responded to Target located on US Hwy 9 for a report of a shoplifter in custody. Dana Oppedisano, a 21-year-old resident of Manalapan who is single and unemployed was being detained by a loss prevention officer for attempting to leave the business with $746.61 of unpaid merchandise. Ptl. Mazzatto placed Oppedisano under arrest and transported her to police headquarters where she was processed and released pending a future court date.

Warrant Arrest
On Saturday, September 8 at approximately 9:00 a.m., Iryna Zaburyanna, a 44-year-old, married, female, Manalapan resident, who is employed as a home health aid, turned herself in at Manalapan Township Police Headquarters regarding a warrant that was issued for her arrest by the Ocean Township Municipal Court in the amount of $1,500.00. Mrs. Zaburyanna was processed and released after posting bail. Patrolman J. Morgan Joiner was the arresting officer.

Fraud
On Friday, September 7 at 8:27 p.m., a 56-year-old Manalapan resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters to report fraudulent activity on a Verizon Wireless account. Unknown actor(s) used the victim’s identity to make over $8,000 in unauthorized purchases. Patrolman Brian Schank was the responding officer.

Warrant Arrest
On Friday, September 7 at approximately 9:20 a.m., Thomas J. Doyle, a 27-year-old, unmarried, unemployed, male resident of North Brunswick, NJ, responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters to turn himself in regarding warrants that were issued for his arrest by the Highland Park Municipal Court in the amount of $200.00, the New Brunswick Municipal Court in the amount of $2,000.00 and $1,500.00, the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office with no bail amount given, and the Middlesex County Sheriff’s Office with no bail amount given. Mr. Doyle was placed under arrest, processed, and transported to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution in lieu of bail. Patrolman Jeannie Letts was the arresting officer.

Theft
On Thursday, September 6 at 12:36 p.m., a 30-year-old Whiting resident reported that sometime around 12:00 p.m. on September 6, 2018, an unknown actor(s) removed a receiver device valued at $3,500.00 from a pick-up truck parked on the side of the roadway of State Route 33 east. Patrolman Joseph DeFilippis took the report, which is pending further investigation.

Theft

On Thursday, September 6 at 8:27 a.m., a 48-year-old Manalapan resident reported that sometime between August 31, 2018 and September 4, 2018, unknown actor(s) broke and removed a 3-foot statue from the property of a Carole Court residence. The statue was described as an India welcome statue, valued at $250.00. Patrolman Brian Schank handled the report, which is pending further investigation. Anyone with any information regarding this incident is asked to please contact the Manalapan Township Police Department at 732-446-4300.

Warrant Arrest
On Wednesday September 5 at 9:19 p.m., Patrolman John Lightbody conducted a motor vehicle stop on Tennent Road after observing a motor vehicle violation. A passenger in the vehicle, identified as Salvatore Colletti, a 23-year-old, unmarried, male, resident of Red Bank, who is employed as a server, was found to have a warrant issued for his arrest by the Middletown Township Municipal Court in the amount of $661.00. Mr. Colletti was placed under arrest and transported to the Manalapan Township Police Department where he was processed and released after posting bail. Patrolman John Lightbody was the arresting officer.

Warrant Arrest
On Wednesday, September 5 at approximately 8:46 p.m., Patrolman Kyle Williams conducted a motor vehicle stop in the parking lot of The Vitamin House off of US Highway 9 South for a traffic violation. The driver of the vehicle, identified as Ruben Delgado, a 45-year-old, married, male, resident of Cranford, NJ, who is employed as a consultant, was found to have a warrant issued for his arrest by the Scotch Plains Township Municipal Court in the amount of $500.00. Mr. Delgado was placed under arrest and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and released after posting bail. Patrolman Kyle William was the arresting officer.

Driving While Intoxicated
On Wednesday, September 5 at approximately 1:10 a.m., Patrolman William Dutton and Patrolman Kimberly Whitehill responded to the area of Rt. 9 south and Taylor’s Mills Road in Manalapan Township for a report of a motor vehicle collision. As a result of the investigation, Marguerite Mauterer, a 35-year- old, unmarried, female, resident of Fort Collins, Colorado, who is employed as a bartender, was found to be driving while intoxicated. Ms. Mauterer was subsequently placed under arrest and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where she was processed and released after being issued summonses. Patrolman William Dutton was the arresting officer.

Possession of Prescription Medication/Unlawful Possession of a Weapon
On Tuesday, September 4 at approximately 4:00 p.m., Patrolman Matthew Porricelli conducted a motor vehicle stop for a motor vehicle violation on Oakland Mills Road. Alan Rudnicki, a 29-year-old, self-employed, unmarried, male, resident of Manalapan and Andrew Mckinstrie, a 31-year-old, unmarried,
male, resident of Manalapan, who is employed as a computer technician, were found to be in possession of prescription medication without a valid prescription and drug paraphernalia. Both subjects were also found to be in possession of a Model 11 Winchester Airsoft hand gun, metal knuckles, and other weapons. Both
subjects were placed under arrest and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where they were processed and turned over to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution pending a court hearing. Patrolman Matthew Porricelli was the arresting officer, with the assistance of Patrolman Adam Sosnowski and his K9 partner Grim.

Fraud
On Tuesday, September 4 at approximately 11:10 a.m., a 60-year-old Manalapan resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Department Headquarters to report that an unknown actor had utilized the victim’s personal information to open a Kohl’s credit card online. No financial loss was sustained as a result of this incident. Patrolman Bart Mattaliano was the responding officer.
