Manalapan Rt. 9 Gas Station Sells $2 Million Lottery Ticket

MANALAPAN, NJ — Check your pockets if you bought a lottery ticket this week along Rt. 9 in Manalapan!

That's because the Exxon gas station on Rt. 9 north at Taylors Mills Road sold a ticket that matched all five of the five white balls drawn in the Tuesday night, July 9 drawing. The ticket first won the $1,000,000 prize. However — because that ticket was purchased with Megaplier — it multiplied the prize to a cool $2,000,000, announced the state lottery.

The ticket was purchased at Monmouth Heights Exxon, 208 Route 9 N., Manalapan in Monmouth County.

The winning numbers for the Tuesday, July 9 drawing were: 12, 26, 40, 48, and 64. The Gold Mega Ball was 01, and the Megaplier Multiplier was 02.

As of Wednesday, July 10 the Mega Millions jackpot has now rolled to $121 million.
