A 19-year-old Monmouth County man died Friday night after he was thrown from his motorcycle, authorities said.

Howell police confirmed that the fatal accident happened on Route 547, closing the road between Allaire Rd and Route 524A and Birdsall Rd.

Randall Arvai of Manalapan was transported to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune after the crash, where he succumbed to his injuries, according to nj.com.

Arvai was traveling Route 547 southbound on his 2009 Yamaha motorcycle when he collided with a 2001 Lexus operated by Robert Hanlon Sr., 76, of Brick, according to the report.

On Twitter and Facebook, Arvai described himself as an international karting driver who went to Manalapan High School and studied at Brookdale Community College. Some paid tribute to him on social media.
