Counterfeit Currency / Theft
On July 9, 2017 at 10:51 am, Wegman’s loss prevention staff reported a counterfeit $100.00 United States bill was passed to a cashier by an unknown black male subject. The subject purchased $15.02 of store merchandise and received $84.98 change. This incident occurred on July 7, 2017 at approximately 6:47 pm. Patrolman Joseph DeFilippis handled the report. This case is currently under investigation.

Theft
On Thursday, July 6, 2017, between the hours of 9:30 am and 9:30 pm, a 53-year-old Manalapan resident reports that employees from a moving company hired out of Fairfield, NJ to move items from one Manalapan residence to another Manalapan residence removed items from the home. Total value of the items is approximately $400.00. Patrolman William Dutton handled the report.

Harassment/Terroristic Threats
On Thursday, July 6, 2017, at approximately 7:18 pm a 49-year-old Jackson resident reported an ex-employee, a 64-year-old Freehold Township resident, was harassing and threatening her at her business. The co-owner of the business, a 46-year-old Englishtown resident related the ex-employee has threatened him and sent him harassing emails and text messages. The ex-employee related she has not been paid for her work at the business. Patrolman Christopher Makwinski handled the report.
Fraud
On Thursday, July 6, 2017, at approximately 5:06 pm, a 44-year-old East Brunswick resident responded to police headquarters in reference to a report of fraud involving her employer. The employee related that the business she is employed by, in Manalapan, was a victim of fraudulent checks. The unauthorized checks were issued to multiple individuals, totaling in the amount of $7,000.00. The checks have not been approved and this incident is pending further investigation. Patrolman Douglas Zike handled the report.
Harassment
On Wednesday, July 5, 2017, at approximately 8:33 pm, a 49-year-old Manalapan resident contacted this agency to report harassment. The victim reported that a neighbor has called the police numerous times in reference to a party they hosted over the weekend. The victim also reported that the neighbor came to their residence and began yelling at them regarding the party. The report was handled by Patrolman Peter Bylsma.
Credit Card Fraud
On Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at 8:52 am, a 66-year-old Manalapan, NJ resident reported that between June 21, 2017 and June 30, 2017 unknown actor(s) made over twenty unauthorized credit card purchases on her credit card at various locations. The incident is under investigation by Patrolman Jeff Emslie.
Aggravated Assault
On Monday, July 3, 2017, at approximately 9:02 pm, a 22-year-old Manalapan resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Department and reported he was assaulted on June 2, 2017 at a Cooperhawk Drive residence. The victim reported that he was punched in the face several times knocking him to the ground and kicked. The victim reported that he had several facial fractures along with multiple cuts and abrasions. This case is pending further investigation. Patrolman Christopher Makwinski handled the report.
Criminal Mischief/Vandalism
On Monday, July 3, 2017 at 7:34 pm, a 42-year-old Toms River resident reported that unknown actor(s) broke a garage door, a glass door, and spray painted several markings throughout a Pension Road residence. The victim was not able to determine an approximate dollar value of the damage. Patrolman Peter Bylsma handled the report
