Manalapan-Englishtown Regional School District 2013-14 Calendar

Kids across the country are stretching the final days of summer out as much as they possibly can, dreading the flipping of the calendar and the return of the dreaded “S” month.

Yes, Sept. 9 brings with it the return of the school year in Manalapan, but don’t fret kids; in between the beginning of classes and the return of summer on June 23, 2014, there are plenty of days off.

Here’s a look at the Manalapan-Englishtown Regional School District’s 2013-14 school calendar:

· Monday, Sept 16: John I. Dawes Early Learning Center Back to School Night

· Wednesday, Sept. 18: Lafayette Mills Back to School Night

· Thursday, Sept. 19: Back to School Night for Clark Mills, Milford Brook, Taylor Mills and Wemrock Brook

· Monday, Sept. 23: MEMS 7th Grade Back to School Night

· Tuesday, Sept. 24: MEMS 8th Grade Back to School Night

· Monday, Oct. 14: Columbus Day (School closed)

· Tuesday, Oct. 22-Friday, Oct. 25: Parent-teacher conferences (Early dismissal)

· Thursday, Nov. 7-Friday, Nov. 8: NJEA Convention (School closed)
