Manalapan's National Night Out Tuesday

MANALAPAN, NJ — Come on down to the Rt. 9 Target parking lot Tuesday night and join the Manalapan police for National Night Out Manalapan!

This year’s event will include a special appearance by a juggler, fire-eater, and yes, live wolves. There will also be the participation of all of Manalapan Township’s emergency services, a monster truck display, helicopter landing, inflatable rides and carnival games for kids, raffles and various community groups providing information on crime prevention.

Also, present will be various branches of the military displaying rescue boats, robots used to handle explosives and other demonstrations. Multiple local police departments will be providing canine demonstrations, along with Manalapan Police Department’s own K-9 Grim. That's Grim pictured above!

Entertainment for the event will be provided by Thunder 106.3, along with Xplosive entertainment. In addition, Make-A-Wish New Jersey volunteers will be present, as this will be our third year donating a portion of our proceeds to this charitable organization. Last year, we were proud to donate $1,200.00, and we hope to increase that amount this year.

The event will be held from 5- 9 p.m. in the Target parking lot, located at #55 US Highway 9 South in Manalapan Township. Come on down and enjoy a beautiful summer night out with your neighbors and local police officers!
