Men with Gun Arrested Sunday in Manalapan
Their car was stopped on Doe Drive, Monmouth County prosecutors said, and searched.

Four men were arrested Sunday in Manalapan, where they were found with an unlicensed handgun and drugs on them, Monmouth County prosecutors said.

Christopher Boothby, 19, of Brooklyn, Justin Masucci, 20, of Cliffwood Beach, Jeziel Romero, 21, of Laurence Harbor, (removed), were stopped by police in their car on Doe Drive. After a search of the vehicle, Manalapan police found a high-powered Browning 9MM handgun in their car, as well as nine hollow point bullets.
None of them had a permit for the gun, prosecutors say.

Police also found marijuana on the men and 200 Alprazolam pills, an anti-anxiety medication. The men intended to sell the drugs, police said.
