Monmouth County Library Offers Access to Candid Databases

MANALAPAN, N.J. (Jan. 6, 2025) – The Monmouth County Library System is now offering on-site access to Candid databases at Library Headquarters in Manalapan. These resources provide valuable research tools for students, researchers, nonprofit professionals, and anyone interested in philanthropy.

All Candid products are available exclusively at Library Headquarters and may be accessed using library internet computers or a patron’s own laptop while on-site. This access allows patrons to explore in-depth nonprofit and funding information at no cost.

Candid provides two primary research tools that help connect people and nonprofits: GuideStar and Foundation Directory. GuideStar enables patrons to research nonprofit organizations they may wish to support and to learn more about the services those organizations provide. Foundation Directory helps nonprofits and individuals seeking funding, scholarships, or fellowships identify and connect with potential funders.
