Monroe Group Home Employee Touched Female Resident, Police Say

Ganesh Gudar, 46, who works at a group home in Monroe, has been arrested and charged with criminal sexual contact of a female resident.

MONROE, NJ — A man who provided care to residents at a group home in Monroe has been arrested and charged with criminal sexual contact of a female resident.

Ganesh Gudar, 46, pictured above, of Monroe, was arrested Friday, August 24, and charged with one count of criminal sexual contact in the fourth degree.

The group home was unnamed by police.

Detectives with Monroe police and the Middlesex County prosecutor's office say that last Tuesday, August 21, Gudar improperly touched a 62-year-old female resident. Gudar works and resides at the group home.

He was charged during an investigation by Sergeant Keith Saloom of the Monroe Police Department and Detective Allie Bitterman of the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office.

Gudar is scheduled to appear in New Brunswick Superior Court on October 9, 2018.
