Monroe Woman Killed In Forsgate Drive Crash Monday

MONROE TOWNSHIP, NJ — A Monroe woman was killed Monday in a crash on Forsgate Drive, when her car was struck by a Delaware man driving with a suspended license, police say.

The fatal crash happened Monday afternoon, May 13 when Brenda Ness, 73, of Monroe Township, was a passenger in a Ford Fusion attempting to make a left turn across Forsgate Drive.

A Delaware man, Manuel Oscar Dominguez-Valdez, 48, was driving a 2005 Dodge Ram truck when he struck the Ford Fusion.

Ness was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. The 74-year-old male driver of the Ford Fusion was taken to a local hospital and treated for his injuries.

Dominguez-Valdez, 48, of Wilmington, Delaware was charged with one count of causing a death while driving with a suspended license, a crime of the third degree.
