More Than $24K Raised For Manalapan Teen Killed In Car Crash
The 17-year-old Manalapan High School student and football player died in a car crash on April 19. A GoFundMe was started for funeral costs.

MANALAPAN, NJ — A single-vehicle car crash on Route 9 in Freehold Township killed two Monmouth County teenagers and injured three others on Tuesday night.
Asaivion Whiting, a 17-year-old football player at Manalapan High School, has been identified as one of the children killed in the crash. A GoFundMe page has been set up to help his family with funeral expenses.
According to a GoFundMe created by Andrea Beaton, “Asaivion Whiting was a true gentleman and was taken from us all too soon. He was very soft-spoken, polite, team-oriented, community-oriented and an optimistic human being. He wanted to be a police officer and was extremely knowledgeable about agriculture.”
