Multiple Manalapan Businesses Being Burglarized, Police Say
Businesses on Rt. 9, Gordons Corner Road and Rt. 33 were all broken into last Wednesday night into Thursday, March 7.
MANALAPAN, NJ — Three Manalapan businesses were broken into last Wednesday/Thursday, March 6 and 7, and had money stolen from inside, police confirmed.
Police declined to say the names of the three businesses, citing their privacy. However, they are all located in the area and they were all broken into the same day.
The first business owner, on Rt. 9, reported that at 3:48 a.m. Thursday, March 7, someone broke in during a five-hour period overnight and stole money.

Then at 6 a.m. that same day, a business owner on Gordons Corner Road called police to say that suspects had entered the building and removed an unknown amount of money.
Then at 10:30 a.m., a business on Rt. 33 said they were broken into overnight: Someone entered and removed cash and change.

"At this point we cannot speculate on these incidents being connected," said Capt. Edward Niesz of the Manalapan police. "Right now they are each being individually investigated and that investigation is active and ongoing."
