First Police Dog K9 Joins Manalapan PD

Manalapan, NJ - There’s a new police officer on patrol with the Manalapan PD. And in this case, his bite truly is worse than his bark.

K9 Grim is Manalapan’s first and only police dog. Grim and his handler, Manalapan Patrolman Adam Sosnowski, graduated from the Ewing Township Canine Academy on Friday, Dec. 11. They started patrols in Manalapan this week.

Sosnowski is a Marine Corp veteran who served two combat tours in Iraq. Grim is a 17-month-old, male German Shepherd from the Czech Republic.
