MANALAPAN, NJ — Governor Mikie Sherrill's proposed budget for 2026-27 includes a record $12.4 billion in aid to the state's 574 public school districts, including the Manalapan-Englishtown district.

On Thursday, the NJ Department of Education released its aid figures for each school district across the state.

Similar to the 2025-26 school year, most aid increases were capped at 6%, with the majority of aid cuts capped at 3%.

In Manalapan-Englishtown, the school district will see a rise in state aid from the 2025-26 school year.

In total, the Manalapan-Englishtown Regional School District will receive $8,649,916 for the 2026-27 school year, a $489,619 (or 6%) difference from 2025-26.
