
Mildred C. Diana, of the Covered Bridge section of Manalapan, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2011, at her daughter's home in Marlboro with her loving family. Born in Brooklyn, she has resided in Manalapan for the past 26 years. She was a communicant of , Manalapan, and president of the Christian Neighbors, Manalapan.
Millie was predeceased by her husband, Salvatore, in 1992; and brother, Frank Fonte. She is survived by her four daughters and sons-in-law, Ann Marie and Arnold Greenberg of Marlboro, Patricia and Len Colica of Toms River, Margaret and Douglas Mateyaschuk of Bayville, N.Y., and Kathleen and Tony Lanza of Pelham Manor, N.Y.; a brother, Sam Fonte of Woodbridge; eight grandchildren, John, Dawn, Linda, Robert, Jennifer, Douglas, Lauren and Anthony; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to visit from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12 at the , 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan.
A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 13 at St. Thomas More Church, Manalapan. Interment will follow at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold.
