Born in Troy, NY, he lived in Manalapan before moving to Freehold nine years ago. Joel was the office manager for Central Jersey Irrigation, Englishtown. Joel was predeceased by his father, Joel Sr. He is survived by his mother, Anita of Manalapan; his sister, Denise Berthiaume of Manalapan; his brother, John Berthiaume of Colts Neck; and three nieces, Ashley, Amy and Allison. Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday, Oct. 5, from 4 to 8 PM,at the , 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday, Oct. 6, at 10AM, at Manalapan. Interment will follow at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to a charity of your choice.
