Obituary: Kathryn A. Mohr, 70

Kathryn A. Mohr, 70, of , died on Thursday, July 26, 2012, at Care One in Holmdel. Born in Jersey City, Mohr resided in Aberdeen before moving to Manalapan five years ago. She worked as a teacher at Old Bridge High School, retiring in 2001. She loved reading and loved the beach. One of her favorite charities was the New Jersey Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (NJSPCA).

Kathryn was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Madeline Mayer Alexander. She is survived by her beloved husband, Charlie Mohr; three sons, Brian and his wife, Amanda of Howell; Jeff and his wife, Melissa of Hightstown; Charles and his wife, Patricia of Manalapan; a sister, Barbara Sutton of Freehold; and four cherished grandchildren, Corey, Dylan, Griffin and Rylie. Kathryn will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Family and friends are invited Monday, July 30, 2012, from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ 07735; and Tuesday, July 31, 2012, 9 a.m. at the funeral home, with a 10 a.m. Mass at St. Benedict RC Church, 165 Bethany Road, Holmdel. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the New Jersey Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (NJSPCA) in Kathryn's memory.
