Pearl Sanfiorenzo, 71, of Manalapan, passed away on Monday, September
26, 2011, at Barbara E. Cheung Memorial Hospice, Edison. Born in New York
City, she lived there for 50 years before moving to Manalapan 20 years ago.
She was a former member of the Abyssinian Baptist Church in Harlem. Before
retiring, Pearl was the office manager for Mountain Construction & Maintenance
in Matawan.
She was predeceased by her parents, James and Bessie Mae Matthews. She
is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Dana B. and Gerald L. Cadena; two
siblings, James A. Berkel and Annie E. Lewis; and grandson, Sergio Andres
Cadena.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, Sept. 29, from 2 to 6 p.m.,
with a service during that time, at the , 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan. Interment will be private.
