
Seymour "Sye" Walter, 91, of Manalapan, N.J., died Monday at his residence. Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Temple B'nai Abraham Memorial Park, Union, N.J. Arrangements are by the , Manalapan, N.J.
Born in Newark, Walter lived in Clark, Scotch Plains, and Palm Coast, Fla., before moving to Manalapan 11 years ago. He was a World War II Army veteran and was self-employed as an owner of the Max Walter Advertising Agency of Newark, and Sye Walter Advertising of Scotch Plains.
Walter was an active member and stockholder of the Colonia Country Club and was a several time "club champion" there. He was also a member of the Pine Lakes Country Club, Palm Coast, Fla.

He was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy, in 2006. He is survived by his daughter, Pamela Walter Colonna and her husband, Ron, of Manalapan; his brother, Sol Walter and his wife, Beatrice, of Springfield, and his grandchildren, Adam Walter, Meleah Hawthorne and Lee Colonna. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
