A 2001 Dodge Intrepid, traveling southbound in the right lane, struck an unidentified man who was walking along Rt. 9 in the area of the signalized turn.

The victim struck the driver’s side of the vehicle, causing him to be projected up over the vehicle, striking the hood and windshield before coming to a final stop in the right lane of Rt. 9 on the southbound side, just south of the intersection, Gramiccioni said.
