Garbage Collector Hit, Seriously Injured By Garbage Truck in Manalapan
He became pinned between the truck and a car as he was loading trash.

Manalapan, NJ - A garbage collector was very seriously injured Tuesday afternoon when he was pinned in between a car and the garbage truck he was working to load.
The incident occurred at 11 Woodcrest Terrace in the township at about 2 p.m. The man, Gregory Lamar, 29, of Lakewood, was loading garbage into a garbage truck when it rolled onto him, pinning him against a nearby car, according to the Asbury Park Press.
His co-worker, Shavar Williams, 40, put the truck into neutral and got out to help Lamar load it moments before it rolled over Lamar, police told the APP. Lamar was treated at the scene, but then was flown by medevac helicopter to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick with serious injuries, according to the APP.

Williams had been driving with a suspended license, and he was charged.
