Pickpocketing in Target, Wegmans in Manalapan, Police Report
Watch your valuables while shopping, Manalapan police say.

Manalapan, NJ - Last week, Manalapan police recorded two instances of pickpocketing, one from a shopper at the Wegmans and another from a woman shopping at the Manalapan Target. Both stores are located in the same shopping complex off Rt. 9.
On Wednesday, February 10, a 33-year-old Freehold woman said her Apple iPhone 6S had been stolen from her while she shopped at the Target that day. She had no information on possible suspects.
On Monday, February 8, a 79-year-old Marlboro woman said an unknown Hispanic male stole her wallet out of her purse while she was shopping at the Wegmans. Two of her credit cards were then used at two separate stores that same say, she said.

A police investigation revealed that three Hispanic male suspects and one Hispanic female suspect were in possession of the stolen credit cards. The case is open pending further investigation.
