Recycling Center Now Open Two Sundays a Month

The Manalapan Township Recycling Center will now be open on the first and third Sundays of each month, beginning this upcoming Sunday, Oct. 7. On Sundays, the Recycling Center will be open from 9 a.m. until noon.

The Recycling Center is located in the Public Works Yard at 207 Route 522 in Manalapan. The facility is also open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

There are containers available for newspapers and cardboard and a container for co-mingled products including cans, bottles, plastics. There are also separate containers for metal, electronics, televisons, and used clothing.

Brush and branches can also be brought to the Public Works Yard on Saturdays and Sundays only.
