Rollover Crash In South Brunswick Thursday Morning
Breaking: The accident occurred at 7:20 a.m. on Rt. 535 today. Three women were in the car. Please stay off the roads, police ask.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — Please stay off the roads Thursday unless absolutely necessary, South Brunswick police ask. Police are reporting that driving conditions are quite bad out there, and so far there have been at least two crashes Thursday morning in South Brunswick.
The first was minor, on Rt. 1, but the second was more serious and involved a car that rolled over at 7:20 a.m. on Rt. 535. Three women were in the vehicle and only one suffered minor injuries, police said.
"Travel is difficult on most roads," said James Ryan, Deputy Chief of the South Brunswick police department. From the police:

All Township roads are snow covered. The worst of the storm is expected between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. South Brunswick is now expected to get between 4 to 8 inches of snow total. After the snow stops this afternoon, there is a big concern of high winds and wind chills below zero. All roads are slippery and travel is hazardous. Traffic is light as most schools and many activities are cancelled.
All Township offices including municipal court, senior center and South Brunswick Library are closed for today.

Weather Forecast - Snow fills in and some of the heavier snow to the east gets into our area as well. Still thinking 3-6" for storm total. Winds are already at 10-20 mph and these will further increase, especially in the afternoon and evening. Expect significant problems with blowing/drifting snow, along reduced visibility. The blowing/drifting snow will be a problem right through Friday night and it turns bitterly cold.
