Sayreville to Join Manalapan, South Brunswick in Group V This Football Season
Sayreville has caused problems for defending champion South Brunswick and title contender Manalapan in Group IV in the past.

A rematch between South Brunswick and Manalapan in this year’s Central Jersey Group V title game is not a foregone conclusion after the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association (NJSIAA) released its 2013 football classifications earlier this summer. Classifications were revised on Aug. 2.
The teams will be joined by Central Jersey Group IV champion Sayreville this season. Sayreville was undefeated in 2012.
Group V was established by the NJSIAA prior to the beginning of last season. Sayreville has an enrollment of 1,307 students, exactly 200 more than Brick Township, the largest school in Group IV.
The three teams are no strangers to each other.
