MANALAPAN, NJ — Following voter approval of the Manalapan-Englishtown Regional School District’s (MERS) $115.4 million bond referendum in November 2024, the district is continuing to implement upgrades and facility improvements at each of its schools.

Although recent freezing temperatures have posed a challenge for outdoor work, district officials said indoor projects are well underway, with the fall and winter seasons bringing numerous updates.

An example of one such update includes the groundbreaking and structural progress on the district’s addition to Manalapan-Englishtown Middle School (MEMS).
