Seniors Delight In Holland Farms Sunflower Festival

Check out this adorable video of some seniors from Brandywine Living Princeton enjoying Holland Farm's spectacular sunflowers.

CREAM RIDGE, NJ — A group of seniors from Brandywine Living in Princeton went on a fun excursion to Holland Ridge Farms in Cream Ridge this week. They were there for the farm's annual Sunflower Festival.

To help the seniors get out to the fields to enjoy the sunflowers, Holland Farms staff member Gijs Jansen gave them a lift in his John Deere. The older folks ranged in ages from 88 to 96 years old.

This is the second time the seniors have visited Holland Farms. Earlier this year, in April, seniors from Brandywine Living Princeton came to the farm also, to see the thousands of tulips there during the tulip festival. On Thursday, they were equally amazed to see all the beautiful sunflowers!
