Shoplifting at Manalapan Wegmans, Best Buy, Police Say
A woman tried to steal $200 worth of food, and a man walked out of the store with a $550 item on him, police said.

Manalapan, NJ - A Milltown woman was arrested last Sunday March 13, for allegedly shoplifting from the Manalapan Wegmans. Kathryn Stanton, 49, was charged with shoplifting $196 worth of merchandise at 3:30 p.m. last Sunday.
In a separate incident, a Keansburg man was arrested last month for trying to walk out of the Manalapan Best Buy hiding $549 worth of merchandise on him, police said. He tried to conceal the merchandise on his person, and a Loss Prevention officer from the store had detained him and called police. Joseph Jack, 26, was arrested February 29 at approximately 4:52 p.m. in the store. He was additionally found to have active warrants issued out of the Tinton Falls Municipal Court and Holmdel Municipal Court totaling $3,000.00.
