A Summer Car Show, Fireworks And Concert Friday In Manalapan

MANALAPAN, NJ — Summer celebrations continue in the township with music, fireworks and a car show Friday at the Manalapan Recreation Center's Dreyer field at 94 Route 522 (Freehold Road).

The Manalapan Arts Council will host a summer concert and car show this Friday, July 15, at the Manalapan Recreation Center. The car show will begin at 6 p.m; gates open at 5 p.m..

The concert is by Eagles Tribute Band The Desperado’s and will begin at 7:30 p.m.

And the evening will conclude with a fireworks display. Bring your own chair or blanket to enjoy the show. The event runs from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

If you are interested in participating in the car show, please call the township at 732-446-8308 or email info@mtnj.org to confirm availability or to register. Registration is not required, however it is preferred.

Participating cars can begin to arrive at 5 p.m. Please be sure to enter through the west gate; you should be able to follow the signs for entry. Participants who arrive after the lot is full will be redirected to the overflow lot.

Voting will take place until 8 p.m., and three winners will be chosen. Winners will be announced on the main stage at 8:30 pm.
