As we all learned in school, The Boston Tea Party is a well known rebellious act in the American fight for freedom. Food and Tea Historian Judith Krall-Russo will discuss New Jersey's own "Tea Party" -- which happened in Greenwich, NJ, in Cumberland County on December 22, 1774, one year after The Boston Tea Party.
Krall-Russo will talk about this little-known, but important event in NJ history, the importance of tea in the lives of the colonists and the importance this area of the state has played in industry, agriculture and manufacturing from colonial times.
