Traffic Stop Yields Cocaine, Illegal Knife in Manalapan
A traffic stop on Rt. 9 in Manalapan yielded cocaine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and a knife, police said.

Manalapan, NJ - A traffic stop on Rt. 9 in Manalapan yielded cocaine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and a knife, Manalapan police said.
At 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 19, Patrolman Kyle Earley pulled over a 1995 Toyota sedan. The driver, Miguel Serrano, 25, of Somerset, and passenger Eunice Natal, 24, of Somerset, were found to be in possession of cocaine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Additionally, they were charged with unlawful possession of a weapon, police said, specifically a prohibited knife.
Serrano, the driver, was also found to have a suspended driver’s license and had two traffic warrants for his arrest, out of New Brunswick and Carteret. He was arrested and turned over to Monmouth County Correctional Institution on a $16,850 bail.
