Tryouts Set For Manalapan Braves Travel Baseball's Spring 2027 Season

MANALAPAN, NJ — The Manalapan Braves Travel Baseball Program will be holding tryouts this summer for players interested in joining the organization for the Spring 2027 season.

Set to take place on Monday, June 29, tryouts will be for the 7U travel baseball teams, which aim to provide young athletes with a competitive baseball experience focused on skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and a lifelong love of the game.

The 7U division serves as an introduction to travel baseball, helping players develop strong fundamentals while competing against teams from throughout the region.

Unlike many private club programs, the Manalapan Braves combine high-level player development and competitive travel baseball with the advantages of a community-based program, officials said.

Braves players have the opportunity to compete at a high level while continuing to play alongside classmates, neighbors, and friends they have grown up with throughout the community.

The program is built around long-term player development, experienced coaching, and a commitment to keeping local baseball strong.

As players advance through the Braves organization, they also have the opportunity to pursue one of youth baseball’s most memorable experiences: representing Manalapan at Cooperstown Dreams Park as part of the Braves tradition.

“Our philosophy is simple,” said the Manalapan Braves Travel Committee. “We believe families should not have to choose between elite development and community baseball.”

Tryout information for the Manalapan Braves is as follows:

• Date: Monday, June 29
• Time: 7:00 p.m.
• Location: Manalapan Recreation Field 7
• Eligibility: Players born between May 1, 2019 and April 30, 2020
• Details: Players should arrive early for check-in and be prepared to participate in evaluations that include hitting, fielding, throwing, running, and game-play activities.
