Two Incidents on St. Andrews Place in Manalapan Investigated by Police

Both incidents were reported over the weekend to Manalapan police.

Manalapan, NJ - Manalapan police responded to two different incidents on St. Andrews Place over the weekend, but it does not appear at this time that they are related.

The first on Friday, was a theft from a home, and the second was vandalism to a car.

On Saturday, a 50-year-old male St. Andrews Place resident reported that someone smashed the rear window of his car. The resident said he parked his car on Friday night at 8:30 p.m. and found the damage Saturday morning at 5 a.m.

No items were taken and no other cars on the street suffered damage, police said.

The day before that, on Friday, a 50-year-old female resident of St. Andrews Place called police to report that $1,500 had been taken from her home. She said the theft occurred sometime between Feb. 19-25.

The street is part of the Knob Hill Golf Club development built off Rt. 33.

Again, police did not say if the two incidents are related and they are not being investigated together.
