Unlocked Mercedes Stolen From Manalapan Driveway Jan. 27

The Mercedes had possibly been left unlocked and was stolen this past Sunday, making that the second car stolen in Manalapan this January.

MANALAPAN, NJ —A Mercedes that had possibly been left unlocked was stolen in Manalapan this past Sunday, Jan. 27, making that the second car reported stolen in Manalapan this January.

At 7:07 a.m. on Sunday, a 41-year-old Manalapan resident called police to report that his 2015 black Mercedes Benz S63 was missing. The luxury car had been parked in his driveway from 9:00 p.m. Saturday night, until it was reported stolen at 7:00 a.m. Sunday.

It is possible that the vehicle was unlocked with a spare key inside, the homeowner told police. Police did not give an address.

Prior to this, a 2018 Honda Accord was stolen from a Hampton Court home last Thursday night into Friday morning, Jan. 18, police reported.

The homeowner called police at 12:40 a.m. Friday, Jan. 18 to report the car was missing. It had been parked with the key fob inside, said police.
