MANALAPAN, NJ — The day after disgraced former Edison police officer Michael Dotro admitted to firebombing his supervisor's Monroe Township home, his wife cut a deal with prosecutors that avoids her serving jail time. Her husband, meanwhile, is facing 20 years in prison after his guilty plea Monday.
Alycia Dotro, 42, was admitted Tuesday into pretrial intervention for her role in her husband's nefarious activities, which he admitted to on Monday. Michael Dotro pleaded guilty to arson and attempted murder the home of Edison Police Captain Mark Anderko.
Anderko had reportedly ordered Dotro to undergo a psych evaluation after his 11th excessive force complaint. Dotro was charged with attempted murder because Anderko's entire family, including his wife, children, and 92-year-old mother, were in the home at the time. Dotro set the fire using a Molotov cocktail.
