Woman Jumps From Window In Millstone House Fire
A house fire in Millstone Twp. was so bad Monday night that a woman inside the home was forced to jump out a second-story window to escape.

MILLSTONE, NJ — A house fire in Millstone Twp. was so bad Monday night that a woman inside the home was forced to jump out a second-story window to escape the blaze, a spokesman for the Monmouth County prosecutor's office confirmed to Patch.
However, the adult woman survived the fall and as of Tuesday afternoon, she is recovering from her non-life threatening injuries that she sustained in the fall.
The fire broke out at around 7 p.m. in this house on Crest Circle in Millstone Twp. It is not immediately known if the woman who jumped was caught. She was transported out by medevac helicopter, and another person inside the home when the fire broke out was treated at the scene by EMS.

The fire started on the first floor and quickly rose to the second before consuming the entire home. These are photos from the scene provided by the Millstone volunteer fire dept.
The fire is under investigation by the Monmouth County Fire Marshals Office. Mutual aid had to be called in from fire departments in Englishtown, Cassville, Jackson Mills, New Egypt, Manalapan, Freehold, Monroe and Gordons Corner.
