BELMAR, NJ — Fourth of July activities in the Manasquan-Belmar area have extra sparkle in 2026, as this year is the 250th anniversary, or semiquincentennial, of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
The holiday falls on a Saturday in the middle of a three-day weekend, July 3-5. To help you fit it all in on your 4th of July calendar, Patch put together a guide to fireworks and other celebrations in Manasquan, Belmar and the surrounding towns:

The town of Manasquan will hold their fireworks show July 2 this year. Parade, Beach Concert, Fireworks Best viewed from the Manasquan Boardwalk 5-10 p.m.

Heralded as the best fireworks display on the Jersey Shore, the Asbury Park Independence Day Fireworks is fun for everyone young or old. Get to the beach a bit early to secure your spot.
Fireworks will be launched from the beach between First and Fourth Avenues, with prime viewing available all along the boardwalk. Fireworks go off when it gets dark.
Belmar's fireworks and light show will be July 3
Belmar’s Independence Day fireworks and computerized light show will be Friday, July 3. Location: Outside the Taylor Pavilion at 5th and Ocean Avenues. Schedule: The evening kicks off with a free concert at 8:30 p.m. The laser light show and beachfront fireworks are scheduled to begin at approximately 9:10 p.m. when it gets dark. Prime viewing spots are directly on the sand in front of Taylor Pavilion or across the street on the grass at Silver Lake Park. While the event is free, officials suggest a $25 family donation to benefit Rebuilding Warriors, a nonprofit that provides service dogs to veterans
Fireworks at Pier Village in Long Branch, July 4: Long Branch will host its annual Independence Day firework spectacular on Saturday, July 4, 2026, as part of Oceanfest, the state’s largest Fourth of July celebration. The festival starts at 1 p.m.; stroll the shops and boardwalk and then fireworks go off over the ocean when it gets dark, usually around 9 p.m.
