Manasquan firefighters and the US Coast Guard rescued three people and the dog just after 2 a.m. on Sunday, according to authorities.
The incudent prompted an urgent call for help for a vessel taking on water in Manasquan Inlet. Within minutes, Coast Guard and firefighters arrive and found the fishing vessel "Kathleen" going down with three persons on board just inside Manasquan Inlet, authorities said.

Firefighters quickly removed three fishermen and their dog and transported them to the nearby Coast Guard Station in Point Pleasant for further evaluation.
