Anne Beattie Simpson Parkhill (“Nana”) of Belmar passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on Monday, Feb. 2. Anne was born in Glasgow Scotland and lived in Asbury Park before moving to Belmar.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband Edward (“Eddie”) Parkhill, parents Joseph and Elizabeth and her seven siblings. She is survived by her beloved daughters Anne England and her fiancé Brock of Bricktown, Lorraine Heflin and her husband Kelly of Edgewater MD, Julie Parkhill-Archer and her husband Michael Gawoski of Belmar, her beloved grandchildren, Jennifer England, Ian, Alyssa and Cassandra Heflin, her beloved goddaughter Carol Riach, her sister-in-law and dearest friend, Connie Simpson of Glasgow, Scotland and her extended family and friends here and overseas.
You were always full of fun, an absolute joy to be around. Small in stature but with such a big personality, a force to be reckoned with we will love and miss you always.
