Belmar parking meters will "go into effect" now that the tourism season is about to start.

Parking meters will go into effect in Belmar on May 1, officials say. You can find a pay station by looking for the above solar panels.

You always have to pay unless the the station is covered. You must pay from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
