British Invasion Concert To Benefit Mary's Place
Come see the finest musicians in the NY/NJ area led by renowned musician/songwriter Glen Burtnik and featuring The Weeklings.

Sammy Boyd Productions and Glen Burtnik's are presenting the British Invasion Concert To Benefit Mary's Place at The Paramount Theatre in Asbury Park on Saturday July 30 2016 at 8pm. Come see the 1960’s cultural explosion reenacted by a cast of the finest musicians in the NY/NJ area led by renowned musician/songwriter Glen Burtnik and featuring The Weeklings.
Burtnik decided on supporting Mary's Place by the Sea saying “It's an amazing facility created and maintained with love by a wonderfully giving staff. Pitching in to assist this community based group is an honor really- and I feel like helping raise the profile in the community of this very special oasis is a duty and a pleasure.” Mary’s Place by the Sea first had their Raise the Roof Concert at the Paramount in 2009 when Founder Michele Gannon first started the mission of giving a place for women with cancer to heal. When asked about the British Invasion Concert Gannon said, “We are thrilled to be back at the Paramount Theater, where we launched our mission 8 years ago! We are grateful to all who will bring their talents and energy together on one stage at an amazing event.” Proceeds from the event that are donated to Mary’s Place will go to continuing their mission
Exclusive Ticket - $61: Exclusive Mary's Place by the Sea Orchestra seats Rows D-M first come first serve basis are available. 100% of these ticket proceeds benefit Mary's Place by the Sea. Tickets can be picked up at Mary's Place by the Sea or at will call window the evening of the show. Be up close with the bands and surrounded by a sea of supporters! Marys Place by the Sea provides an innovative approach to caring for women during and after treatment. Guests are provided with unconditional care during their time of extreme need at NO COST. It is the mission of Mary's Place by the Sea to give women with cancer a place to rest and recuperate during and after the rigors of their cancer treatments. The volunteers care for these women so they may focus on their healing gaining strength to win the battle with cancer. Guests are welcome to stay a few hours or a few days, if needed. Some of the services offered to guests are oncology massage, nutritional counseling, guided meditation, yoga, journaling, spa services and more.
The first care center was opened in the summer of 2009 and they just finished building a 10-bedroom home so that they will never have to tell a woman she has to wait to receive these services. Over 5,000 women have been been guests at Mary’s Place by the Sea and have come from England to Alaska to experience the love and support. Fundraisers like this are helping build the home and continue the mission to help women across the nation fight cancer.
