The camp is a one-week immersive cultural arts program, offering children ages 7-to-12-years-old an engaging introduction to traditional Irish music, song, and dance, seeking to foster a fun, meaningful experience that inspires young people to engage with vibrant Irish traditions. It will be held daily from July 13 to 17, 2026, 9a to 12p, at the Goodwill Hose Company, Belmar, NJ.
Shannon Dunne is an internationally recognized sean-nós dancer, musician, and educator with over 25 years of practice in Irish traditional arts.

To honor our nation’s 250th anniversary, Alan Delozier, D.Litt., noted historian, author, university archivist and Director of Special Collections at Seton Hall University, will explore the contributions of Irish immigrants and Irish Americans to the founding of America.
Meeting is Monday, July 13, at 7:00 p.m. at the Friendly Sons of the Shillelagh (upstairs), 815 16th Avenue, Belmar. 
Admission is free for members of the Society and FSOS Belmar members. A donation of $10 is suggested for guests. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Dr. Alan Delozier of Seton Hall University to lecture at Irish American Society of the Jersey Shore

To honor our nation’s 250th anniversary, Dr. Alan Delozier, noted historian, author, and humanities librarian at Seton Hall University, will present a talk entitled “Irish &amp; New Jersey in the American Revolution – An Introduction”
"The story of America's founding is incomplete without recognizing the early contributions of Irish immigrants and Irish Americans," said Delozier. "Their commitment to liberty, public service, faith, and community helped leave a lasting imprint on the development of the state and the nation.""The semiquincentennial provides an ideal opportunity to hear stories of individuals whose important contributions to America's founding are not often in the historical spotlight," said Fran Griffin, Founder of the Society. "We’re pleased to welcome Alan as he shares the significant role Irish played in helping to establish America, especially in New Jersey.”
