Can Email Marketing Really Work for Your Small Business?
New workshop on small business marketing to be held Wed April 27 at 8:30 a.m. at The ShowRoom in Asbury Park

Asbury Park, NJ -- What the Heck Is the Point of Email Marketing? – the second of the WTH! Workshops, will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 27 at The ShowRoom Cinema, 707 Cookman Ave. Asbury Park.
You know an attention grabbing email when you see one. You just don’t know how to design your own so that it doesn’t end up in the spam folder. Newsletters and announcements keep your customers informed, but only if they read them. How often can you send them before they become annoying? And is it even worth your time? After all, some people say that email is dead!.
Judyth Brown, the presenter of Session Two, is a Constant Contact Authorized Local Expert and will answer those questions and help you use digital tools to their true potential. She is a digital media strategist at Walkabout Media Enterprises and the founding host of the DIY Marketing Studio.
The workshop series is presented by the Business Development Center in partnership with DIY Marketing Studio. Local experts present best practices for websites, email marketing, social media, video production and podcasting. After April 27, the three remaining workshops will be held in the same 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. time slot on alternating Wednesdays -- May 11, 25 and June 8.
Attend any session and you will gain access to the DIY Marketing Studio for a post “Heckathon” event where experts will help you work through your own marketing headaches. They will help you develop small business projects with effective and sustainable marketing practices.
