Celebration of Asbury Park Wellness Center, KUR STUDIOS 1 year

First 100 guests will receive an insulated Kur Tote Bag. Hors d'oeuvres, tours of the studios, demonstrations, and more for celebration.

On Friday, June 3rd at 6:30 pm Kur Wellness Studios, located at 412 Bond Street in Asbury Park, will be celebrating their one year anniversary. Owner Troy Teeboom stated, “the reward of running a business that has helped so many is what I’m most proud of. We’ve had clients quit smoking, loose significant weight, solve chronic pain and digestive issues. To becoming less stressed, more positive, with improved posture, better sleeping habits, and increased flexibility.”

To celebrate the evening, the first 100 guests will receive an insulated Kur Tote Bag. Hors d'oeuvres, tours of the studios, demonstrations, and wellness conversations will be provided throughout the night. Learn about skin care, yoga, massage, and personal training from the best practitioners in the area. Each paid booking at the event will receive a free Sranrom aromatherapy retail gift ($20 average value). Kur is also offering unlimited yoga from Memorial Day to Labor Day for $199, which can be purchased at the event.

Teeboom opened Kur after his own personal experience with health issues. “Once you start fixing a body that’s been ignored the pain sets in, so getting massages was the only way I could find relief.” Opening a wellness studio that had one-on-one personal training, yoga, and spa services was what he always looked for but couldn’t find. Opening Kur has paid off with raving client testimonials: “I will never forget that first day when I walked into Kur Studios where my outlook on health would change dramatically,” claimed Kur client Angelo Dipuma. “My unhealthy lifestyle moved me deeply and feelings of helplessness soon turned into a fiery passion to make a difference and embarked on a journey to find a place of wellness.” Angelo now receives personal training and massage sessions from Rich every week. “To me a role model is someone in my life that has influenced me in a positive way. They help shape the way I am in the present and what I will be in the future.”

“For a business to be successful you have to cater to your community and take particular care in choosing the right staff,” Teeboom said. Massage Therapist Tara said, “Kur has given me the outlet I've been searching for to provide people with life enhancing treatments.” Kur also has Kimberly, an Ayurvedic Nutritionist, that helps those looking to solve digestive issues and make better lifestyle choices. “It has been a lifelong exploration that has led me to now be able to help others with their goals. It is a gradual slow-and-steady that wins the race. Starting with a 90-minute consult, then a few follow-ups… from there you can check in with me as needed.” After learning about your specific body type, Kimberly offers, “we think everything has to be so mystified, yet what is in front of us can often bring a lot of change.”

Kūr Wellness Studios offers more than 100 traditional and Ayurvedic treatments and services – a full menu of massage, skin care and waxing, rejuvenating hand and foot rituals, detoxifying treatments, and variety of yoga classes and workshops – done by the absolute best practitioners in our area - each with positive attitudes and true commitments to health.
