Cheers to Summer Benefits Catholic Charities Programs in Monmouth County

Red Bank, N.J. (May 4, 2016) – The Monmouth County Board of Catholic Charities, Diocese of Trenton, announced today they will again host Cheers to Summer, an event that kicks-off the new season while raising funds for programs that benefit hundreds of individuals and families throughout Monmouth County. Cheers to Summer will take place on Thursday, May 26, 2016 from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at the Spring Lake Bath & Tennis Club, Spring Lake, N.J.
Tickets to Cheers to Summer are $125 per person and can be purchased online at www.catholiccharitiestrenton.org/monmouth or by calling Jennifer Leip at (609) 394-5181 ext. 1137. Guests will enjoy cocktails, dinner, dancing, an auction featuring an array of unique items and a mega 50/50 raffle. Attire is country club casual; no jackets required.

“The dedicated members of the Monmouth County Board of Catholic Charities work tirelessly to ensure that programs are funded and available to aid the public,” explained Event Co-Chair, Valarie DeFelice. “We are grateful for their hard work and look forward to another successful Cheers to Summer event,” added DeFelice.
Each year, hundreds of Monmouth County residents benefit from the support of Catholic Charities. Support is provided regardless of religious affiliation.

Catholic Charities programs in Monmouth County include: Beacon House (a residential program for young men age 18 and over), Family Growth (specialized services for trauma related issues or other forms of family abuse or violence), Linkages (a transitional housing program for homeless families), Monmouth Counseling Services (in collaboration with Monmouth University, treatment for children and families challenged by emotional and behavioral difficulties) and Project FREE (an intensive outpatient substance abuse treatment program for women).
To date, several area businesses and families have committed to sponsoring Cheers to Summer. Event underwriters are The Allied Group, Circle BMW and Mr. and Mrs. Peter J. Griffin. Platinum Level Sponsors are Durso Wealth Management Group at Morgan Stanley, Ray Catena Family of Dealerships and Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Duff. 2016 Cheers to Summer Co-Chairs are Chuck and Celeste Arnone of Point Beach, Valarie DeFelice of Sea Girt and M. Barbara Willis of Avon by the Sea. Both DeFelice and Willis are members of the Monmouth County Board of Catholic Charities. Gift Auction Co-Chairs are Dale Feindt of Wayside and from Lincroft, Barbara Incitti and Mary Lee.
