Coast Guard Keeps Watch In Manasquan Area During Shutdown
They're not getting paid, but the Coast Guard is doing its job, officials say.

The Coast Guard continues to operate in the Manasquan area despite the government shutdown, according to officials.

"This lapse in appropriations is beyond our members' control and is expected to be a temporary situation," Sibley said. "We appreciate your... understanding and flaxibility."
